Storm Events Can Result In Severe Roof Damage

Wind and Hail Damage Roof Repair

Whether the wind and hail was a result of a hurricane, derecho, or tornado, it is sure to result in damaging roofs, gutters, siding, vehicle, and other damage. Many times these damages are visible to homeowners, but storm damage can be tricky, and is something that should be assessed by a professional.

Often times storm damage like unsealed, missing, and creased shingles cause by wind, as well as hail damage is not visible from the street and sometimes even from the roof if not being inspected by a storm damage specialist. Even when these damages are able to be seen, the damage is often more severe than it appears and portions of the roof and other items that appear to be undamaged, are in fact affected and can result in a current or future leak down the road.

Assessing the damage

After a storm, immediately contacting a roofing company that specializes in storm damage should be the first thing that you do. The roofing representative can identify and record all storm damage and also determine whether your roof should be tarped to prevent interior leaks.

Just as important as the aforementioned, the roof inspector can determine whether you should file a claim with your insurance company. If that is what is suggested, they will file the claim with you and meet the Insurance Adjuster on the roof during their inspection and ensure the proper components and damages are properly accounted for and that you receive everything that you are entitled to in order for your property to be restored to pre-storm conditions, or better.

Wolf and Timber Roofing

No Cost Inspection

Call us if you have an immediate need.

There are many situations that warrant a roof inspection. Storm damage is one of the most serious, but wear and tear over time is a good reason as well. We offer a free annual inspection to assess the wear and tear of your roof from year to year. Additionally, if you have an immediate situation from storm damage or another concern, we will inspect your roof for free.

Annual Roof Inspections

If your roof is in good health, we will store your inspection data to schedule next year’s check-up. When the next scheduled inspection comes around, we will have your info and data about your roof saved. This information allows us to track your roof’s condition. Some roofing contractors charge between $75-$200 depending on your location, the size of your roof and the type of roofing materials, but with Wolf and Timber Roofing, all roof inspections are free.

Next-Level Inspecting

At Wolf and Timber Roofing, we take roof inspections to the next level. We do physical evaluations of all exterior home features, including soffit, fascia, gutters, windows and siding. That’s why we commonly refer to roof inspections as property evaluations. Our team’s inspection accurately determines your property’s condition and acts as a guide for keeping your home in top shape.
